Virginia and Purdue put the madness in March Madness on Saturday night.  The game was won in overtime by Virginia 80-75.

The Cavaliers needed a buzzer beater at the of the second half to force overtime and they got it from Mamadi Diakite after a missed free throw.

What a shot and what a game.  This is the action that people watch the tournament for.  Next stop for the Virginia Cavaliers, the Final Four.

Let’s hope there are a couple of these kinds of moments as the tournament closes in on the National Championship game.
