According to Myrtle Beach Sun News, the 41-year-old WWE star was arrested Saturday morning at a South Carolina hotel for alleged public intoxication. Police say Hardy, a.k.a. Brother Nero, was arrested “without incident” at around 11:15 a.m.

TMZ reports the wrestler has since been released on a less than $200 bond.

“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions,” the WWE told WrestlingInc.com in response to the incident.

Hardy was also arrested in March 2018, after he allegedly crashed his car in North Carolina. He was charged with DWI after he reportedly registered a 0.25 blood alcohol level on a Breathalyzer test, three times the legal limit in North Carolina.

Hardy has been out of the ring since May, as he’s been recovering from knee surgery. He is expected to return to the WWE after six to nine months.
