Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez is going to need a little extra time in the ice tub after Monday night’s game in Houston. That’s because he took a foul ball off of the bat of Yuli Gurriel directly to the junk.
The shot dropped Sanchez immediately and he needed a little medical attention before resuming his catching duties.

Foul balls to the junk are one of many unfortunate parts of being a catcher. The good news for Sanchez is, his cup did its job well enough to allow him to stay in the game.
