Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German was placed on administrative leave by Major League Baseball on Thursday under the domestic violence policy. The league is currently investigating a claim against him.
The 27-year-old has been one of New York’s best pitchers this season with an 18-4 record in 27 appearances.
