Former Warrior Zaza Pachulia texted Kevin Durant to wish him a happy birthday. A completely normal thing for a former teammate to do.
What isn’t normal is sending the text three months after the birthday, which is what Zaza did. KD’s birthday is in September.
Durant had some fun with it and posted the text exchange with his former teammate on Instagram, via Clutch Points:

Pachulia was probably thinking of Durant because he wanted to be back on a championship contender.
The Pistons are off to a decent start, but they will end up just being another one of the stepping stones for Boston, Philadelphia or Toronto.
