G League veteran Andre Ingram got the call he’s waited 10 years, literally 10 years.

After grinding in the NBA’s minor league for 10 seasons, Ingram learned that he had earned a contract to play for the Los Angeles Lakers’ final two games.

He found out unexpectedly while doing an exit interview with the South Bay Lakers and was greeted by Los Angeles Lakers president Magic Johnson and general manager Rob Pelinka. The Lakers took video of the moment and posted it on social media.

Dude has a lot of gray hair for a 32 year old, maybe being stuck in the G-League for 10 years will age you. At any rate, he can one day tell his kids, he played in the NBA, and that’s  pretty fricking cool.
