49ers defensive end Dee Ford suffered from knee tendinitis last year. He first had issues during training camp.
Ford played on the knee for the entire season, including a playoff run and a Super Bowl.
He revealed on Friday that he underwent a “pretty extensive cleanup” surgery on his left knee a couple of weeks after the Super Bowl.
