Division III quarterback Broc Rutter ended up with a few extra dollars in his pocket after the 49ers decided to give him the $279 they had left over from their undrafted free agent signing bonus money.
Rutter’s original deal with the 49ers didn’t include a signing bonus at all. The couple of hundred dollars isn’t much but it’s good enough to take the family out to dinner, once going out to dinner is a thing again.
