Jonathan Hernandez shared in an interview with Dr. Oz that his troubled brother and mother had been bickering when the athlete shared about his sexuality.
‘Then all of a sudden they have this conversation and they’re both flooded with tears across from each other,’ Jonathan continued.
Jonathan spoke to Dr. Oz in an emotional interview that will air today.
He cried as he said hearing his brother’s voice again from clips of phone calls he’d shared from prison with his fiancee.

Jonathan said his brother mended many of the relationships that were shown as ‘crushed’ in the Netflix documentary.
He added that his brother ‘learned’ from his time in prison before killing himself.
Hernandez was appealing his conviction for the murder of Odin Lloyd when he killed himself in his Massachusetts prison cell in 2017.
