Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen left Monday night’s game early after suffering a knee injury. He got caught up in a rundown and tweaked the knee attempting to avoid a tag.

McCutchen has to realize that at 32, getting into a rundown isn’t worth it anymore. Just do the slow jog into the tag and take it to the dugout.
The Phillies lost more than their veteran outfielder. They lost the game to the Padres, 8-2. Philly’s hopeful the injury doesn’t keep McCutchen out of the lineup for too long.
