During the Pirates and Braves game on Thursday afternoon Brian Snitker was sent to the showers a little earlier than everyone else. That’s because he complained about an awful strike three call.
The pitch was delivered to Braves young star Ronald Acuna Jr. and was approaching chin height when it crossed the plate. Snitker really had no choice but to complain about it.

You just can’t stay quiet on a pitch that high. Umpires really need to start recognizing when they miss calls and own up to the mistake instead of tossing players and managers.
There are close calls that could legitimately go either way and you have to respect the umpire’s call, but this isn’t one of them.
