The Carolina Panthers have won three straight games with backup Kyle Allen. He’s keeping the team afloat as star quarterback Cam Newton returns from a Lisfranc injury.
Or so we thought.
A source revealed that the team plans are that if Allen continues to lead the team to wins, he would remain as the starter even after Newton returns.
The Panthers play in London on Sunday then have a bye week. Newton is expected to miss one more game after the bye week before returning.
If Allen is still picking up wins things could get very interesting.
