The Green Bay Packers and tight end Tucker Kraft agreed on a four-year, $75-million extension Saturday that could reach $92 million, sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The new agreement reportedly includes a $26.5-million signing bonus, Schefter adds.
Kraft appeared in eight games last season before sustaining an ACL tear in Week 9. He posted 489 yards in 32 receptions prior to the injury, including six touchdowns. He’s returned to practice during training camp and is expected to play in Green Bay’s Week 1 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
Kraft was among the most efficient pass-catchers in the NFL before being sidelined for the year. His 0.81 EPA/target ranked first across the league among players with at least 40 targets, according to TruMedia.
The 25-year-old had a career year in 2024, recording 50 receptions for 707 yards and seven touchdowns. He also saw his snap count jump drastically to over 85% of the offensive plays after playing under half the plays as a rookie.
Kraft wasn’t the only tight end to cash in on Saturday, as the Las Vegas Raiders signed Michael Mayer to a three-year, $45-million contract that includes $30-million guaranteed. Mayer’s average annual salary of $15 million per season makes him one of the top five highest-paid players at his position.
