Celtics guard Kyrie Irving took to Twitter on Thursday morning to apologize for saying, “f*ck Thanksgiving.”  He made the comments after Wednesday night’s loss to the Knicks when a reporter wished him a happy Thanksgiving.

Irving said he spoke out of frustration and didn’t mean any disrespect to those who celebrate the holiday respectfully.

“I spoke w/ frustration after last nights game and spoke words that shouldn’t be in a professional setting no matter what. Meant no disrespect to the Holiday and those who celebrate it respectfully. I’m grateful for the time We all can share with our families. We are always ONE.”

Irving is definitely frustrated.  The loss dropped the Celtics to 9-9 on the season.  Not exactly where Boston was hoping they would be at this point in the season.
