The often injured Chandler Parsons is expected to rejoin the Memphis Grizzlies after the All-Star break and return to the lineup.  The announcement comes after the team was unable to move him before the trade deadline.

Parsons has played in just 73 games for the Grizzlies since he signed a $94 million deal with the team in 2016.  He has to be one of the biggest free agent disappointments in the history of the NBA.

There’s no reason to believe that Parsons will be able to play out the second half of the regular season without injury.  But it should be fun to watch him try.

The Grizzlies might have to consider just eating the salary and freeing up a roster spot.
