Chargers running back Melvin Gordon might have already played his last game with the team. His holdout appears to be extending into the regular season.
The Chargers informed Gordon that they will not discuss his contract situation until after the season and have given him permission to seek a trade.
All of it is behind head coach Anthony Lynn, who is tired of talking about Gordon’s holdout, and is looking ahead to Week 1. He made it clear that it’s “time to play football.”
