You can only become bowl eligible for the first time in school history once, and the Charlotte 49ers acted like it after a win over Marshall on Saturday.

The Charlotte football team, which began play during the 2013 season, celebrated in a section of the locker room called “Club Lit” after reaching six wins for the first time.

The postgame party scene has become a staple of the program under Charlotte head coach Will Healy.

The coach, with the school mascot head on, crowd surfed shirtless, while a song by rapper “DaBaby,” who grew up in Charlotte, blared in the locker room.

The postgame festivities were captured in videos posted to social media.
