Bruins captain Zdeno Chara took a puck to the face during Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.  He later returned to the bench with a protective cage, but didn’t return to the ice.

Chara reportedly suffered a broken jaw from the puck to the face and there are now conflicting reports about his availability for the rest of the Stanley Cup Final.

If Chara can take the ice at all you have to believe he will.  He’s one of the toughest guys in the NHL.

If he’s unable to play the rest of the series, then Bruins chances of winning another Stanley Cup Final will be in serious jeopardy.
