Conor McGregor broke his silence on the incident at a bar in Ireland where he ended up punching an old man in the side of the head. In an exclusive interview with Ariel Helwani, McGregor admitted he was in the wrong and took full responsibility for his actions.
McGregor’s apology comes after the man who took the punch spoke out about the sucker punch.
McGregor claims he made amends shortly after it happened, but understands the fans reaction to watching the video. There was none of the out of this world showman he’s become. It seemed like a genuine apology for his actions.
