One of the oddest things to take place over the weekend was Justin Bieber challenging Tom Cruise to a fight in the octagon. It seemingly came out of nowhere without any sort of build-up of any kind.

The tweet asked if anyone was willing to host the fight and included UFC President Dana White. A quick look at White’s timeline reveals he hasn’t responded to the tweet, but someone else has.
UFC fighter Conor McGregor jumped on the opportunity to host the fight, if Tom Cruise is man enough to accept the challenge.
If Tom Cruise is man enough to accept this challenge,
McGregor Sports and Entertainment will host the bout.

There you have it, ball is in Tom’s court now. Although we’re not entirely convinced that Bieber actually wants to fight him.
It all seems like some sort of elaborate viral marketing campaign. Either way, we’re all in. There’s nothing like falling for a good viral marketing campaign.
