The UFC announced that Conor McGregor will be fighting lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 on October 6th for the lightweight title.

Who needs a fight to knock the rust off?  Not the face of the fight game.  He’s jumping right back into the Octagon and going for broke.

Khabib is 26-0 in his MMA career, including 10-0 in the UFC.  He’s definitely not a guy to take lightly.

This is going to be a huge fight for all involved.  It’s Conor’s first fight back in the Octagon, Khabib is trying to stay undefeated and there’s a belt to top it off.
