The Cowboys appear to be preparing for a lengthy Ezekiel Elliott holdout. Owner Jerry Jones made it clear, earlier in the day on Monday, that Dallas didn’t need the league’s leading rusher to win a Super Bowl.
Jones put his money where his mouth was by signing free agent running back Alfred Morris on Monday night. He played for the Cowboys a couple of years ago and averaged almost five yards per carry.
