On Tuesday, Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to discuss an altercation he was in back in May in Las Vegas.

Zeke released a statement following the meeting saying he has worked hard to make better decisions and will continue to do so in the future to keep himself out of these kinds of situations.

Elliott was detained at the EDC Festival in Vegas after an altercation with an event staffer.  He was cuffed, but not arrested.

This is all part of the song and dance Zeke agreed to perform during his meeting with Goodell.  The fact that he wasn’t arrested and put out a statement immediately after the meeting makes it unlikely that he will be suspended.
