Last week, it was reported that Alex Rodriguez ‘feels he’s paying excessive amounts to his ex’ in spousal support, and was upset she hasn’t been putting her masters degree in psychology to work.  

Former Baseball star Alex Rodriguez’ ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis hit back on Monday, according to a report from TMZ.

The 45-year-old mother-of-two claimed, ‘Alex requested that I discontinue working and make parenting my primary focus.’

 Cynthia said in a statement from her lawyers,

The statement added: 

As you can tell, Alex Rodriguez and ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis are in tough negotiations over spousal support. Rodriguez coughs up $115,000 a month tax-free in combined spousal and child support. He is now willing to pay $20,000 a month, while Scurtis is pushing for $50,000 

Luckily it’s all going down for the public to consume.
