Dan Patrick is probably going to catch some heat for this take, but he’s 100% on the money. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is overrated.
Is Aaron Rodgers a great NFL quarterback? Sure. Can he do things other quarterbacks can’t do? Yes. But he’s still overrated and he’s still not even close to the greatest quarterback of all-time.
Results matter. Nobody is saying Rodgers is on the same level as a quarterback like Trent Dilfer, who rode a strong defense to a ring. He’s obviously a better QB than Dilfer ever was.
Rodgers is no Tom Brady, he’s no Joe Montana, Steve Young or Peyton Manning either.
