After 21 years and seasons with the Dallas Mavericks, 40-year-old NBA star Dirk Nowitzki has officially retired from the NBA.

Nowitzki, who spent each of his 21 seasons with the Mavericks, finished with a team-high 20 points and 10 rebounds in his final outing. For his career, he boasts per game averages of 20.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists with a championship ring and an NBA Finals MVP from the 2010-11 season.

D-Wade held his own party to celebrate.

And Dirk had his as well, with a lot less fanfare.

After his final game, the NBA legend headed out to Bottled Blonde for a little retirement celebration.

Pretty cool that Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban would make an appearance.

If it wasn’t for Dirk, Cubes would still be ring less.

Dirk will most certainly be missed.
