ESPN reporter Edward Aschoff died on Christmas Eve at the age of 34 after contracting pneumonia covering the Ohio State-Michigan game.  His fiancee Katy Berteau took to his Twitter account and provided an update on his death with a surprising discovery.

According to Berteau, tests revealed that in addition to the pneumonia, Aschoff had stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in his lungs.  She said it is an aggressive form of cancer that typically goes undetected until it’s very advanced.
