ESPN’s Todd McShay Removes Himself from Consideration for a Front Office Role with the Jets

How bad is a front office job with the New York Jets?  College roommates of the general manager are turning them down.   

ESPN’s Todd McShay, who was reportedly being considered for a personnel position with the team, has removed himself from consideration. 

Making the announcement even funnier for the Jets is the fact that McShay was college roommates with GM Joe Douglas.

The talented ESPN NFL draft analyst Todd McShay (@McShay13) has decided to remain with the network, removing himself from any consideration for a personnel role with the @Jets, per sources. McShay has no comment at this time.

The new look Jets are still taking Ls and the season hasn’t even started.  This isn’t a good start for the Adam Gase era in New York.

Maybe now they can get Mel Kiper to take the job.  Why not?
