Flyers’ Claude Giroux laid out Carl Hagelin of the Penguins with a massive hit. Hagelin’s Penguins teammate Phil Kessel was penalized for retaliating.
Hagelin had to get some attention on the bench after the hit. He’s a hockey guy, so he’ll be just fine, but this isn’t a hit many want to take repeatedly.
