The Dolphins cut running back Mark Walton on Tuesday after he was arrested for punching a woman who is pregnant with his baby.
Walton appeared in court on Wednesday morning where prosecutors listed the allegations against him as well as his long criminal history.
The judge ordered set his bail at $10,000 and ordered him to have no contact with the victim.
