Former NBA star Charles Barkley was accused by Axios reporter Alexi McCammond (check out her pics above) of making inappropriate remarks while the two discussed 2020 presidential contenders.

The NBA Hall of Famer has made controversial comments regarding violence towards women before.

In 1990, Barkley was forced to apologize for telling reporters after a win, “This is a game that if you lose, you go home and beat your wife and kids. Did you see my wife jumping up and down at the end of the game? That’s because she knew I wasn’t going to beat her.”

McCammond said she did not like being “part of the story” but wanted to vocalize what happened to her because of the number of women each year who get physically abused.
