Last week former NFL quarterback Jared Lorenzen was hospitalized with multiple health issues. His family provided an update on the “Hefty Lefty’s” current condition on Tuesday.
In a statement released by Kentucky Sports Radio host Matt Jones, the family stated that Lorenzen remains on dialysis as he continues to fight through cardiac and renal issues.

Overall a positive update, he is responding to treatment although he remains very sick. We wish nothing but the best for Lorenzen.
Hopefully he pulls through without any lasting issues from his most recent health scare.
