Raiders defensive end Khalil Mack continues to holdout as he seeks a long-term deal with the team. The 27 year old has already been fined $814,000 for missing the first preseason game.
Mack will continue to rack up hefty fines until he reports. The fact that a deal hasn’t already been done is a little shocking.
This isn’t just any defensive end, Mack has recorded double digit sacks in three straight seasons and hasn’t missed a game in his four year NFL career.
Former Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio has a simple solution to end the holdout. He says, “Gotta pay the man!”
Gotta pay the man! @52Mack_ is the total package. Great player and an even better person! https://t.co/HQJkGMvtb7

It’s hard to argue with that. This guy shows up every Sunday and performs. Who doesn’t want a guy who knows how to sack the QB?
