Angels relief pitcher, Hansel Robles, threw a wild pitch with a runner on third and made the decision to tackle the runner before tagging him out at the plate.  Royals third baseman Kelvin Gutierrez was on the losing end of the tackle.

Unfortunately for Robles, you aren’t allowed to tackle baserunners to keep them from reaching a base and the out was overturned. 

If this was the NFL, Robles would have been called for targeting.  You can’t tackle at all in baseball and you can’t shoulder a defenseless player in the head in football.
