Game 1 of the Rockets and Warriors had several missed foul calls on James Harden three point attempts, including a controversial one at the end of the game.  It’s true Harden’s flopping has a lot to do with the referees swallowing their whistles on Sunday.

But what if it was also true that there was a referee who was secretly a Warriors fan or at least a fan of one of Golden State’s star players?  And what if that referee was wearing that player’s signature shoe during Game 1?

That would certainly be interesting.

According to the investigative work of the Instagram account Daily NBA Poll, that’s exactly what happened on Sunday.  One of the referees was wearing Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 8s.

I love a good conspiracy as much as the next guy, but in a league that has had issues with officials throwing games in the past, how does this happen?
