A Miami High School student was arrested after attempting to use a WWE wrestling move on his principal.  The student tried to “RKO” his principal and now faces charges of battery on a school official and interference with an educational institution.

The attempt appeared to be more of a joke than anything, but the principal didn’t find it funny and after blocking the RKO attempt was seen shoving the student before they went out of view of the camera.

Via Local10:

An 18-year-old student at Miami Southridge Senior High School was arrested Wednesday for attempting a wrestling move on Principal Humberto Miret, police said. He appeared in court on Thursday.

According to an arrest report, Miret and the student, identified as Gianny Sosa, of Cutler Bay, were in a second-floor hallway when Sosa attempted a wresting move, called an “RKO,” on the principal.

I know you can’t touch a school employee, but is this really an assault by the student?  He’s a teannager doing dumb things like teenagers do.

The RKO attempt wasn’t even a successful one.  There’s no need to arrest him and bring him up on charges.
