The David Ortiz shooting story continues to add new twists multiple times a day. On Wednesday afternoon the Dominican Chief of Police, Ney A. Bautista, revealed that the men who shot the former Red Sox star were paid less than $8k to do so.
As he held up the gun used to shoot Ortiz, Bautista said the hit men were paid $400 thousand pesos. He did not provide a motive, although it has been reported that Ortiz was having an affair with a drug lord’s wife.
