There are reports that J.J. Watt could return in time for the playoffs, maybe sooner. This after the Texans defensive end tore his pectoral muscle in October and kissed his own season goodbye, “Absolutely gutted that I won’t be able to finish the season with my guys.”
According to Ian Rapoport, the Texans are saving their final injured reserve/designated to return spot for Watt. In fact, there’s a slim chance he returns for the regular season finale.
