Former New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez sure knows the way to a woman’s heart.
The former Yankees slugger has been dating Jennifer Lopez for two years now, but even she needed a little reassurance after their very first date.
The Second Act star, 49, dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday and revealed that she and A-Rod actually coupled up right before Valentine’s Day, and Rodriguez knocked it out of the park with his gift.
“I remember I was doing my show in Vegas, and I got to Vegas, and I flew in and I was tired and there were all these flowers and chocolates and cake and everything, and I was like, ‘Who sent me all that?’” she recalled.
“I didn’t know who it was kind of, because it was kind of new. But it was really nice because it made me feel like, ‘Oh, he really likes me,’” she explained.
Lopez will turn 50 in July and announced Wednesday that she’s celebrating the milestone birthday with a 24-date summer tour that will stretch across North America in June and July.
Expect A-Rod to play fanboy all Summer long.
