Someone needs to tell Grizzlies guard Ja Morant that he’s just a rookie. The No.2 overall pick sure doesn’t play like one.
Suns center Aron Baynes got an up close and personal look at Morant playing with the confidence of a veteran. He had the unpleasant experience of trying to guard him on Wednesday night.
Baynes found himself one-on-one with Morant after a defensive switch. Once Morant saw who was guarding him, he decided to take it straight to the rim.
Baynes kept up nicely with the quick Morant, but ended up on a poster nonetheless.
