NBA veteran and ESPN’s Jalen Rose revealed a concerning update about the superstar’s workout and recovery status.

According to Yahoo Sports, the NBA veteran and ESPN personality witnessed Durant’s workout, which the media was not allowed to see. And he described the outcome as not positive.

Based on Rose’s statement, Durant’s most recent workout did not go so well, and the way sees it, it is likely that the 30-year-old NBA star will never make a return.

“I’m really familiar with the setup, workout that KD had yesterday with the team,” Rose said, “and I’m going to tell you guys, it didn’t go well on any level. It did not go well on any level. I’m just going to keep it at that.”

“I went from being a guy that thinks that he may come back later in the series. Now I feel like he might not come back at all,” Rose revealed.

At this point, it is expected that Durant will not make an appearance in Game 5.

Many still believe that the outcome of the NBA Finals would have been different if Durant had been there to play.

But we may never know if KD would have made a difference.
