Diamondbacks centerfielder Jarrod Dyson had himself a game on Wednesday afternoon in Arizona. The speedy leadoff hitter went 3-for-5 at the plate and drove in a run during the 8-2 win over the Dodgers.
Dyson’s offense wasn’t the most noteworthy part of the game. He flashed a little leather to rob Joc Pederson of a home run.
The play had a little added excitement when he almost collided with his teammate at the wall.
This is one of the more difficult catches you’re going to see made. Dyson had the wall, his teammate and the chance of the ball clearing the fence for a home run to contend with.
