Cubs infielder Javy Baez went on a Starbucks run before Friday’s game against the Mets.  He picked up his mobile order in his full uniform and captured it all on his Instagram Live.

Baez was apparently in need of a little pick me up before taking the field.  He was recognized by fans and even stopped to take a selfie.

The pregame coffee run didn’t do Baez any good.  He went 0-for-3 and the Mets lost the game 5-4.
