Louisiana sports reporter Carley McCord was killed in a small plane crash hours before LSU destroyed Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl. The daughter-in-law of LSU offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger was on her way to the game at the time of the deadly crash.
Apparently the coaching staff didn’t let the players know about the death prior to the game. LSU quarterback Joe Burrow found out about McCord’s passing during his postgame interview.
This is a tough one to watch…
