Lance McCullers seemingly was tipping his pitches last night.

The Houston Astros pitcher had a horrible, horrible pitching day for the Houston Astros in Game 3 of the World Series. The normally electric Astros pitcher actually made history on Tuesday night but not the kind of history you want to make, by giving up a whopping five home runs. That’s the most ever allowed by a pitcher in a playoffs appearance. Which is just crazy considering how long Major League Baseball has been in existence.

Of course Twitter was rampant with speculation over something being amiss. Was McCullers tipping his pitches? Was Lance McCullers giving something away with his delivery that might have given the Phillies hitters an indication of what was coming. It sure felt like they knew which pitch was coming. Is that what Bryce Harper told Alec Bohm before Bohm mashed one over the Citizens Bank Park fence?

Let’s check out the videos to see if Lance McCullers was tipping his pitches.

Watch below:

But maybe not, hard to say for sure.

Pedro Martinez did a great breakdown on Lance McCullers pitching release:

McCullers denied it, and Harper wouldn’t say for sure.

Which all makes sense.

Tough night for Lance McCullers.
