With Sunday’s 14-13 loss to the Bills in Buffalo, the Lions were officially eliminated from the playoffs. The 4-9 season isn’t sitting well with first year head coach Matt Patricia.
Patricia was asked about being eliminated from playoff contention after the game by Lomas Brown of Detroit’s WJR radio. Brown asked Patricia specifically about what he’d say to his team now that they won’t reach the playoffs.
The former Patriots assistant responded to the question with an F bomb.
It doesn’t sound like Patricia has a grasp on reality. The Lions stopped doing those things weeks ago. And if trying to keep your playoff hopes alive isn’t enough of a motivator then nothing is.
