LSU QB Joe Burrow Won the Heisman Trophy Award with the Highest Percentage of First Place Votes Ever

LSU quarterback Joe Burrow won the Heisman Trophy Award on Saturday night in New York City by a landslide.  The margin of victory made history.  Burrow received the highest percentage of first place votes in Heisman Trophy history with 90.7% of the votes.

After the historic win, Burrow gave an emotional acceptance speech.  The most emotional point was when he talked about LSU head coach Ed Orgeron, who gave him a shot at being the starting quarterback when Ohio State wouldn’t.
