Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota threw a huge block and laid out Giants linebacker Alec Olgetree.  The block, which probably should have been flagged in today’s NFL, allowed running back Derrick Henry to turn the corner for a big run.

The Titans probably don’t want Mariota launching his moneymaker into linebackers, even if it does spring a nice run.  The NFL probably doesn’t want him launching any part of himself into his opponents.

There should never be a roughing the passer penalty called on any hit on Mariota.  How do you rough a passer who throws blocks like this?
