Marcus Smart ended up in the stands at the end of the Celtics loss to the Nuggets on Friday night.  He was chasing down a loose ball and his foot got stuck in a seat.

While stuck in the seat, Smart ended up exchanging words with a fan and wasn’t happy when security failed to act after the exchange.

After the game Smart discussed the incident and issued a warning to heckling fans.  As he describes the heckling fan said something he didn’t like and he warned that players are going to, “end up protecting ourselves eventually and it’s not going to be pretty for the fans.”

That sounds like Smart is ready to throw hands over some words he didn’t like.  So what did the fan say that the Celtics guard didn’t like?
