Fultz, the No. 1 pick in the 2017 NBA draft, has had problems with his shoulder all season that have greatly affected his free-throw mechanics. Fultz’s form has been widely mocked as his shots clanked off the backboard.

Looks like he’s trying his best to shake the yips. Fultz is seen here practicing his free throws with shooting coach John Townsend after today’s Sixers shootaround

After lighting it up from three-point range in college, Fultz didn’t even attempt a shot from beyond 13 feet in his brief NBA debut. He hasn’t played a game Since October, and the Sixers even tried using Google VR to help correct his shot

“Just the fact we expect to get back into full basketball activity soon,” Brett Brown said after practice Sunday, “I don’t know the exact timeframe of that, but the news is good in relation to the improvement of his shoulder, enough for us to put out a press release saying what I just said and look forward to bringing him into the team and playing basketball again.”

Hopefully this kid could get back on the court soon, it’s the only way he’s going to shake this thing. The YIPS are real, haven’t seen it effect someone in basketball like it has to Fultz.
